Martha “Marsha” Mullis, 93 of Lake City, FL, died Sunday, April 8, 2012, in Avalon.
Martha was the daughter of Peter & Dena Zigterman, they had eleven children counting Martha.
She was preceded in death by her ten siblings, parents, her husband Robert Mullis, Sr., one daughter, Melodie Miller Waters and one granddaughter, Mindy Waters.

He was born November 3, 1967, in St. Marys and was a 1987 graduate of Camden County High School. He loved fishing, hunting, Georgia Bulldog football, Jaguar football and was an avid Nascar fan. He was of the Baptist faith.

Sister of Mary Malatesta of FL and the late John, Alexander, Douglas, Ronald, Richard Treem, Hilda O’Farrell and Olive MacDonald. Jeanne was the grandmother of 21 and the great grandmother of 9.

She was born March 9, 1943, in Mullins, South Carolina. Although she moved away, she remained a Carolina girl all of her life.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Doyle “Don” Mullis and her five children: Angie Weathers, Robert Duncan, Doyle Mullis III, Desiree Clement, and Jonathan Mullis. Also grandchildren: Douglas and Rachel Weathers, Celeigh and Etta Duncan, Auriana and Kira Clement, and Randa Mullis.

The Ware County native was a member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church. He retired from Effingham County Schools as a music educator. He was a member of Mu Phi Epsilon, Georgia Music Educators Association and Music Education National Conference. He was an Army veteran.
