His family will receive friends from 7:00 until 8:30 P.M. Wednesday at McEwen Funeral Service, Mint Hill Chapel. A graveside service will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, February 9, at Sunset Memory Gardens.

Mr. Mullis retired from M.A. Saine, Inc. after 30 years of service, and later from Carocraft, Inc. after 15 years of service.

She was of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Bridges was born on September 9, 1933 in Jacksonville, Florida and was raised in the Jacksonville area prior to moving to Tennessee. She enjoyed the beach and in her youth was an avid tennis player, but foremost was her family. Leading a simple life, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and became a television tennis enthusiast in her later years.

Mr. Mullis was the son of the late Perry Clyde Mullis and the late Annie Lizzie Williams Mullis. He passed away on August 21, 2011.

After graduation, Mullis joined the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice under its honors program. As a senior trial attorney for the Antitrust Division for 11 years, Mullis conducted numerous grand jury investigations and criminal antitrust trials in five Southern states.
